Phil Wylie’s Ramblings

Changes to PWnet Host

Over the past few weeks I’ve been busy transferring websites from my old hosts server to my new providers server. The new server is known as Kilo. The move was influenced by recent downtime and lack of communication, the move will increase the response time of hosted websites and will ultimately provide a more reliable platform.

I’ve rediscovered Server Status 2k, I had purchased a licence years ago during its early releases, I hoped to provide an alternative to cPanel’s default server status page, however the script was incompatible with my previous hosts setup. I installed the latest version on Kilo and it worked without a hitch. Check it out, I’ve currently got it monitoring my new Kilo server and I’m using the scripts multi-server feature to display simple stats on the availability of my old hosts server, which is where PWnet Central is still located.

Good move to the new server.

with the exception of RedCMS not working, its fine… still trying to find a new CMS that allows me to restrict which users can get to it…RedCMS was perfect for my Requirements

Thanks Phil
